Who is unceasing prayer (up)?
Unceasing Prayer for Bible Translation (UP) is a global collaboration among churches, missions agencies, prayer ministries, and Bible translation agencies to lead praying believers in a 24/7/365 online prayer space.
How long is the committment to lead a prayer hour?
One year.
how does unceasing prayer work?
Each week is divided into 168 1-hour time slots, each hosted and led by a different organization or team of individuals. Leaders invite people from within their Christian network to participate in the prayer space they are hosting. Participants are also encouraged to invite others to join in the prayer room.
Where can I find the prayer room?
Our prayer room is currently hosted on Zoom. Click here to join our prayer room if you already have the access code.
What time zone is the prayer schedule in?
There is a dropdown menu so you can view the schedule in your own timezone. The schedule is international and does not adjust for Daylight Saving Time.
I can’t commit to leading every week can I still pray? YES YOU CAN!
Come and pray. You can join UP as a prayer participant and gather to pray with one or more prayer groups.
Share your hour within your organization. You could recruit other leaders from within your organization to share hosting in your hour. Rotate leadership on a schedule that works for your organization.
Share your hour with another organization. You could invite churches or organizations that you know to share your hour. You could then share hosting leadership with them on a bi-weekly or monthly schedule.
